Prayer of Anticipation

Take a few minutes to pray through our guide.

Dear Heavenly Father...

I Peter 2:9-10 (ESV)

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

  1. Thank God our Father for His plan of salvation.
  2. Pray through I Peter 2:9-10. Though this Scripture passage was first written to followers of Jesus Christ, we will pray this over the Rajputs as a prayer of anticipation for what the Lord is doing and will do among them.

Linger over these phrases...

Chosen race; royal priesthood; holy nation; a people for his own possession; not a people; now you are God’s people; not received mercy; now you have received mercy.  Pray as the Holy Spirit leads you.

  1. Pray through this phrase: you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
  2. Pray for the Lord to build His Kingdom among and through the Rajput people.
